The Desalyne Dancers holds its own Choreographic Competition each year. This year, the competition will be held late February/early March.

This gives students the opportunity to choreograph a routine for themselves or with a maximum of two other students for presentation in front of an audience and adjudicator. |

The winner or winners of this competition may be invited to perform the routine in the school's annual concert. |
|
Many previous winners of this competition are carrying out choreographic assignments for the school teaching on their own or for other schools and have benefited greatly from their early choreographic experience. |
